Megan DiRubbio

Hometown: Smyrna, Delaware

Primary position: Left field

Where I attended high school: Polytech High School in Woodside, Delaware.

College graduation year: May 2019

College major: Nursing

What I hope to do when I graduate: Work at Christiana Hospital in the emergency room.

Besides softball what I like best about college: Becoming friends with so many different people and being able to contact my professors and really get to know them since the campus is smaller.

Things I like to do: Watch movies and travel!

What I did last summer: Last summer I endured my greatest adventure yet to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I have to say it is my favorite place to travel to.

Best advice I’ve received: Never look back, always keep moving forward.

Favorite player:

Cat Osterman

Favorite team:

Florida Gators

Favorite quote:
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney

What is most important to me:
Having fun and enjoying time with my friends and family.

Favorite thing about playing softball: It becomes a passion on and off the field. The adrenaline rush I get before and while playing is the greatest feeling. My teammates are more like family to me than just teammates.
