Pumpkin carving for Halloween...
Wesley Wolverines junior #17 OF Casey Beall (Severn, MD) and junior #9 P/OF Lily Engel (Dover, DE) along with Lily's roommate Wesley junior Lihoshi Gonzalez (Virginia Beach, VA) started the pumpkin carving holiday tradition early yesterday.
Never too old for it.
In the background, a television played The Addams Family film. (Unfortunately, there are no photos of the final carved gourds, but Casey did create both an eerie and truly beautiful Spider-Man jack-o'-lantern!)
By the way, you must admit the pre-carved pumpkins – see inset, white border, in the photo collage below – look absolutely magnificent. These are three of the best from the local pumpkin patch (Fifer Orchards), which the young ladies hand picked themselves.
PLEASE SHARE: This Halloween, players, parents, fans are urged to share photos of Wesley softball or fastpitch-related carved pumpkins, decorations, and/or costumes or any player(s) participating in the holiday, especially if in costume, for posting at this blog.
