First draft of “Spring Games”
schedule shared with Wolverines
THE Spring GAMES have proposed a tentative schedule for the Wesley Wolverines trip next March to Clermont, Florida. It is posted below.
Emphasis: these games are labeled “TENTATIVE”. Head Coach Juli Greep even calls the schedule “extremely tentative.”
But, these tentative games and times does give an idea of who the Wolverines might play, types of schools attending the tournament and rough idea of time off in Clermont, Florida.
This tentative schedule pits the Wolverines against 8 teams – 4 from Pennsylvania with the others from Mississippi, North Carolina, Massachusetts and Wisconsin – in 4 away and 4 home contests.
Again, tentatively, there are games each weekday with three doubleheaders. Throughout the week, scheduled now, are 2 games at 5:00 PM and another 2 at 7:00 PM and 2 more at 3:00. The 2 others are at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
(NOTE: The Penn State Brandywine Lions on this schedule is NOT the same team as our Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) opponent played next April 9 at home, the Penn State Harrisburg Lions.)
